Due to the existence of the photos, which look very much like CCTV surveillance, one assumes The Village has some sort of security system that monitors parts of The Village. The photos were printed on photo paper of the kind used by computer printers and were labeled "scans" and had the words "from the perspective of" added to them. They also appear to be low resolution or somewhat distorted.
There seem to be spy cameras used in The Village, based on the wormcams photo.

[Speculation] The likelihood of these photos being from security cameras lends credence to the idea that the "perspectives" noted on the Bus photo and the Mountainside photo are camera angles.
[Speculation] If the 'perspectives' are CCTV camera designations or angles, the addition of perspective'554' in the Village street photo might indicate an extraordinarily monitored location, more in the lines of Europe, or a private or government location with heavy security.
[Speculation] A note on the "perspective" label of the images: it seems to me as if all of these images are taken from "human" height, as security cameras generally have a much higher downward viewing angle to them. Is it possible that the mentioned numbers are guards or other staff who are keeping watch on their peers? Although I suppose that a number of people carrying around cameras at all times would surely be noticed in the Village. I don't currently know of any technology capable of turning the human eye into a camera, although that's almost what it seems like. [Speculation] The wormcams look like fiber optic spy scopes, similar to these ones that are flexible and allow for the cameras to be threaded into tight spaces. This makes The Village atmosphere a bit paranoid if they're in common use.
[Speculation] It's difficult to parse the scale of the devices in the wormcam image, but they visually resemble certain types of surgical implants. Is it possible that these cameras are actually embedded in some residents or employees of the facility? While seemingly fantastic and perhaps paranoid, this would explain the various 'perspectives' labeled in a most disturbing manner. No. 6TS
[Speculation] Wouldn't such implants lead to increased risk of infection or rejection? It seems like much less trouble to have such cameras simply peek through clothing. Rho4
