Per the landscape seen in the Bus photo, The Village looks to be located in a dry and arid environment. What appear to be sand dunes are visible in the location where visitors are shown disembarking the bus, and per the Mountainside photo there is a mountain in the distance of the "outer perimeter." There are more sand dunes in the picture labeled 93's front door. 512's perspective as well.
One would assume The Village is a residential community of some sort. However, a resort, historical site, treatment center, or even a retail destination could conceivably be given this name.
While the initial two photos being found in the offices of a U.S. company is notable, the significance of this is unclear without knowing the nature and purpose of The Village.
The Village street photo shows that The Village looks to have a unique, but somewhat Western styled architecture.
The Village street photo also shows that The Village has large palm trees.
Speculation on location from all photographs and videos of landscape and vehicles. a] Village associated with mountainous and/or desert environment on its perimeters b] All vehicles are right-hand drive designed to be driven on the left. c] Assuming that all vehicles are being used in country that drives on the left or did within the reasonable life span of these vehicles, the possible countries with the terrain and left hand traffic laws can be narrowed down. d] The following link shows world map of left and right hand drive countries and changes [1]
Suggestions narrow down to Southern Africa, India and Australia.
New Information Location of The Village determined as Swakopmund, Namibia.

Analysis: Landscape
[Speculation] Interior Australia: The Great Sandy Desert of Australia is a possible location for The Village. It matches the landscape and rows of dunes spotted in the footage. The second largest desert region in Australia has road access, but is large enough that someone could secret away an entire town of this size.
[Rumor] New South Wales, Australia: A site like One Tree Hill, in New South Wales looks like the sort of location The Village might have been set up in.
[Rumor] Mojave location: The more arid look of the footage indicates somewhere in the American southwest might make sense for the location. For anyone wanting to spirit people off to a town, secluded and in a dry environment, this is one of the nearest locations. The palm tree located in The Village street photo shows a palm similar to palm that is known to grow in the Mojave area. The risk of taking people out of the country is probably not justified, meaning that there is a strong possibility The Village is within US borders. However, in the first photo of The Village, the bus seems to be a right-hand drive model, which makes it very unlikely that it's in the States. Moderator’s note: The lack of large sand dunes would seem to indicate that Mojave is out, though some more analysis would be welcome. Does anyone have a Mojave or Southwest location with large, hilly sand dunes with mountains in the distance that would fit the footage we just saw?
[Speculation] North Africa: In the event that The Village is being used for ‘extra-legal’ activities, a location somewhere outside of the norm like this may be ideal. The Village could operate with relative impunity. Webshots has a list of photos of the Tunisian desert, and the dunes do seem to line up. Alternatively, photos from SunnyBuick's vacation in Morocco show both a similar type of palm tree and also striped curbs as are shown in The Village street photo. The Atlas Mountains extend across Northern Africa, from Morocco to Tunisia.
[Speculation] Southern Africa: While somewhat less developed in certain areas than North Africa, areas of the Kalahari desert in southern Africa such as Namibia or Angola are also remote, arid, very sandy and located in states where The Village could operate with relative impunity.
Analysis: U.S. company
[Speculation] While there is yet not enough information to deduce the importance of the initial photos' U.S. origins, we may infer several potential alternatives:
- If The Village is a self-enclosed training, research, or treatment facility of some kind to be visited/populated by employees, it would stand to reason that a location in the United States would make the enterprise the most accessible and manageable.
- However, if such a facility's function or purpose somehow requires/relies on/is tied to the particular location/environment or something found there, it might well be located elsewhere in the world.
- If The Village is a resort, treatment facility, or training site potentially attracting visitors on a worldwide scale, there is a greater likelihood that it would be established outside the U.S., especially if an "exotic locale" would be of some benefit.
- However, none of this precludes it being located in the U.S., which again would seem most practical for a domestic company.
- We also cannot overlook financial concerns; again depending on The Village's function, tax incentives or other expense relief (such as a lower-functioning foreign economy) could have greatly influenced the choice of site.
Note: There is a location in Death Valley, California, USA that has an area of large sand dunes, with mountains nearby. However as this area is located inside a National Park, it is highly unlikely that this location could be used without the knowledge of the U.S. Government. However, the area is extremely inhospitable with temperature reaching 140 degress fahrenheit during the summer months and would be an ideal location, if one should want to prevent accidental visitors, or fott travel out from the area.
Geography Facts
Globally speaking, the Village is on the west coast. This is easily observable by anyone who has visited or surveilled the Village who has basic training in orienteering. The shadow-tip method can always be used to determine true north anywhere in the world.
A view of the night sky would determine whether the Village is in the Northern or Southern hemisphere, as either the North Star or the Southern Cross is readily visible.
Also the large dunes (called 'traverse dunes') reveal the direction of the prevailing wind and can reveal other factors under analysis. If available, please post any "sweeping dunes" ground imagery for image analysis by REDACTED.

Location of Other Villages
In the 1960s, there was also a rumor of a place called "The Village," though it's location has not been firmly established. One theory has it that it was located in the Baltic region. It had desert-like beaches and sand dunes, and those held there are said to have felt isolated, not knowing their true location.
Photos show an inmate stranded on a deserted beach, apparently prior to capture by a Village guardian. Whether this earlier Village is connected to the one that is the subject of this wiki is unknown. The informant who supplied these images is unknown and more from this source may emerge.
