Arrival

From The Village Wiki

Six arrives in the desert, not sure where he is, to the sound of gunshots and dogs and helps out 93, who's on the run. A dying 93 tells Six to tell someone called 554 that he got away.

Six follows a light in the distance to a place called The Village, where he seeks out 554 at the Solar Cafe. He is chased by the same people who chased 93, and passes out when he sees a man with a grenade and a suit.

He wakes up and sees 313, a woman he saw when first arriving in The Village. She's a doctor.

Six is taken to see Two, who tells him there is no such thing as New York, that there is only The Village. He is taken back to his apartment. He plans the next day to find a way out, and purchases a map that is only of The Village. He steals a cab.

Interrupting footage shows Six in New York city.

Back at The Village, Six is found in the desert by 313, who takes him back from the desert-like surrounding. Six resumes his investigations, finding drawings by 93 of New York. 554 also shows him a drawing of the Statue of Liberty.

A funeral is held for 93, which Six interrupts.

When he goes back to the Solar Cafe, it explodes. A badly wounded 554 tells Six to follow the towers, then dies at the hospital. 313 begs Six to stop interfering.

An upset Six heads to the gates where Two lives and says he will escape The Village. "I am not a number. I'm a free man!"

He runs into the desert, but is stopped by a large hovering white ball.
